Claire Dechamboux’s practice focuses on assisting and defending her clients before the courts.
Her main areas of practice are family law, adult and child protection law, criminal law and juvenile criminal law.
She also advises private clients, mainly in family law.
Claire Dechamboux studied in France and Switzerland. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in French law from the University of Grenoble II in 2016. She then continued her studies at the University of Geneva, where she obtained a Master’s degree in international and European law in 2018.
She then joined the Department of Public Law at the University of Geneva as a research and teaching assistant. There, she worked mainly on human rights, constitutional law and the law governing foreign nationals.
In 2021, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Swiss law and the Certificate of Specialisation in Legal Practice.
Then, she completed her training in Collectif de défense.
She has also worked as a lawyer for the Association F-information and the Centre Social Protestant.
She was admitted to the Bar in May 2023.
She joined Odier Halpérin Steinmann Sàrl as an associate in October 2023.
