Catherine Zbären advises and represents clients in both private and public law. Her main areas of practice are labor law, public employment law, immigration law and social insurance law.
Catherine Zbären studied law at the University of Geneva, obtaining her Bachelor of Laws in 2014 and Master of Laws in 2015. She then pursued her legal internship at a renowned law firm in Geneva, where she mainly practiced litigation. In June 2016, she obtained the Certificate of Specialization in Legal Practice.
After passing her bar exam in November 2017, Catherine Zbären joined two different law firms in Geneva, where she worked mainly in civil, administrative and criminal law. She then worked as a law clerk at the Court of Justice in the Criminal Appeal and Revision Chamber. In April 2020, she joined the Federal Administrative Court in St. Gallen as a law clerk. During this time, she specialized in immigration law for more than three years. Parallel to her work in St. Gallen, she also worked for one year at the Juvenile Court of the Canton of Berne. In July 2022, Catherine Zbären received a certificate of advanced studies in Juvenile Justice from the University of Fribourg.
She joined Odier Halpérin et Associés Sàrl as an associate in March 2024.
